Chelsea House is an active organization which is apolitical and non-confessional, and which organizes extracurricular language classes in schools.
The integration of our classes in the wider context of the school has always been an important feature of Chelsea House. Our teaching activities are adapted to the needs of individual schools.
Our aim is to work with schools to help pupils become autonomous language learners who have the confidence to express themselves in the target language with teachers, classmates and native speakers. In this way the language classes form part of a wider process of education and socialization in which aspects of personality such as mutual respect, tolerance, self-esteem and habit-forming play an important part in the pupils’ emotional and intellectual development.
